Hi, I’m Anthony Bryson. I’m a passionate community Organizer who’s been working with the people and for the people of Long Beach for 10 years. Before that I was a student at Long Beach City College and Cal State Long Beach.

I’m ready for City Council to fight for the everyday people -  the working people, the renters, families, students, and small businesses for a chance to live a quality life in our city of Long Beach.

I’m a resident of 90813 which is the highest crime rate in our city. I have solutions. I have worked to feed and clothe the homeless and assisting them with directions to our nearest shelters. I’ve been a part of sharing know your rights and community resource teams in regards to the ICE terrorizing our city.

I’m interested in this race not as a politician but as a representative of the people. I am a renter, I am of the working class, so if you allow me to be your voice, I promise you I will speak up for you and be a policy changer.

Long Beach is dying for regular people. Rents are skyrocketing, small business corridors are turning into ghost towns, and residents are told there’s “no money” while the same insiders stay protected. Crime feels higher, but accountability is nowhere to be found.

District 1 needs a council member who will show up for renters, workers, and families—not for developers and donors.
